Fall Thoughts...

It is October and the fall colors are showing in various areas. It so reminds me of our years in Minnestoa and Iowa and how much the colors were enjoyed during these months. The red sumac bushes were particularly lovely and all golden and orange and burnt red colors of leaves that were seen were such a joy!

Our family that leaves in the eastern section of the United States truly get the fall wonderland with color. The profuse amount of trees there make it a daily delight for all to see!

The intense summer months have been very long, but now that schools are back in session, and the activities are posted weekly for families, it is a very busy time. Travelers will now be coming to AZ for the winter months, and we do look forward to our visits with friends and families.

The family gathering we shared this summer in July was so wonderful. We surely look forward to more plans and more time together in the future. Family time is always the very best!!

This coming week, I have a dear friend traveling my way...we have been best friends for over 50 years, an amazing amount of time shared together, lots of laughter, she had the sons, we had the daughters...we still talk of old times together and laugh remembering the good times we have had. We now keep in touch more often, since her husband has died. It will be so good to see her, hug her and enjoy whatever we do together during her visit. Friendship is such a special part of my life and I so enjoy keeping in touch with many who are away from me. It is a blessing I am so thankful for every day. Friends lift your spirits, forgive your quirks, share your laughter and joy, and are one of the most wonderful part of your life! Enjoy your friends!!!

Will close for now. Those who read this, please know I wish you an abundance of peaceful days ahead, there is a lot of stress at this time with our economy problems, but do not let the stress dictate your days. Rise above the stress and take good care of yourselves!!!
